Alliance Learning Management System
A customised learning platform for Alliance Construction Materials, bringing existing training content, employee profiles and learning history into one interactive LMS for onboarding, workforce development and measurable progress tracking.
The challenge
Understanding the real problem
Alliance needed to move an established training operation into a new LMS without losing course content, employee profiles or historical records. The migration had to minimise disruption, validate complex data mappings and prepare the platform for sustained workforce learning.
The approach
Designed around people and operations
i2 planned the content and data migration alongside platform implementation. Courses were rebuilt with interactive media, employee and history records were mapped and validated, and the team tested learning, reporting and authentication journeys before launch.
The solution
A system built to keep working
The new LMS gives employees a structured place for onboarding and upskilling, while administrators can manage courses, track participation and review learning performance. Existing content and user history remain available in the new environment.
Interactive learning content
Courses combine images, video and interactive elements to support onboarding and ongoing workforce development.
Course content migration
Existing learning materials were transferred and restructured for delivery through the new platform.
Profile and history transfer
Employee profiles and historical learning records were mapped, migrated and validated to preserve continuity.
Analytics and reporting
Administrators can monitor participation and learning progress through platform reporting tools.
Measured outcomes
Useful change, shown clearly
The existing project record states that 60 courses, including images, video and interactive elements, were migrated.
The existing project record states that 100 employee profiles and their historical data were transferred.
The existing case description records completion of the profile and historical-data migration within one month.
