We are honored to collaborate with The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Department of Educational Psychology in creating the Parenting APP, a mobile application aimed at supporting parents in enhancing their parenting skills and fostering stronger family relationships. The app includes 12 learning modules that provide structured and practical approaches to address parenting challenges.

Key Features

1. Emotional Thermometer
   • Includes a mood selection feature upon app entry, allowing users to record their daily mood in a calendar. The app also provides encouraging pop-up messages based on the user’s mood to offer support and motivation.
2. 12 Learning Modules
   • Each module includes parenting stories, reflective questions, practical parenting tips, and scenario-based exercises to provide a comprehensive learning experience for parents.
3. Parenting Stories and Reflection
   • Stories within each module are accompanied by reflective questions to help parents think about and adjust their parenting methods.
4. Parenting Knowledge
   • Each module includes articles published by the CUHK Department of Educational Psychology, explaining key concepts in parenting and practical methods for building stronger relationships.
5. Practical Tips
   • Offers useful tools and techniques to help parents reflect on and improve their parenting skills, with content designed for everyday application.
6. Scenario-Based Practice
   • Provides a safe environment for parents to practice communication skills through scenario-based exercises.

This project reflects the university’s commitment to providing parents with accessible and structured resources to better support their parenting journey.
