The Hong Kong Society for the Aged has assigned i2 to develop an APP to support the homebound elderly during the pandemic. I2 developed the apps from elderly UX design to system development.

The elderly users can get a notice from social workers to remind them to take medicines, do regular health checks and physical exercise…etc.

Besides, the app provides news, physical workout videos, weather, and a calendar. The Chinese “宜/忌” of the day is one of the elderly UX features for the elderly.

A user-friendly backend CMS was designed for the social workers to easily manage and assign tasks for their elderly members. This system can also log the user's online behaviors and provide statistical reports for their further developments.
